Chitrakala Parishath is a reputed art institution and cultural organization located in Bangalore. It was set up to promote art and culture and hosts arious art exhibitions, both of arts, handicrafts, etc. It also houses the college of fine arts which started in 1964. This is one of the most well Known art institutes in Bangalore. It houses a permanent collection of works by the Russian painter Nicholas Roerich who resided near Bangalore.
